Hello,
I have taken in a 12 ga dbl that is full & modified, non-chrome lined.
The owner wants mod & impoved cylinder. Where can I rent a reamer to go from full to Imp. Cyl ?

I'm sure someone does rent them but i haven't seen any.
Given the small amount of metal to be removed, I usually use a brake cyl hone. Easy to use and you can do it at the shooting bench with a cordless drill. Hone a bit shoot and see, hone some more, shoot and see. Use plenty of oil and remember it will tignten a notch after you polish it so give it an extra 30 seconds or so after the patterns get where you want them.
