Many of you did not agree with me that we should use our military to help secure our currently wide open borders from illegal invaders.

Well, according to this article, terrorists are trying to enter our United States, via Mexico, with the help of Mexican criminals.

Securing our borders IS an issue, but not one for military authorities (unless you consider the Coast Guard military). A massively reformed, retrained and strengthened border patrol would do the job.

Minefields and electric fences wouldn't be such a bad idea in some places, either. Bet that wouldn't fly and I'm not too crazy on the idea, either. "Effective" and "PC" are inimical qualifications to this issue.
