Tactical rail lights are really expensive. I have a Glock 17 and 19 with tactical rails, and I would like on occasion to mount a light on them, but I refuse to pay the high premium for a flashlight that only mounts on a handgun.

Does anyone know of a product that is the rail mount only and is manufactured in such a way that you can adjustably attach a smaller existing flashlight like a Surefire or Maglight underneath this rail (and at a reasonalble price - say under $30)?

Wait a minute, if this idea has not been manufactured yet, maybe I can get a patent on this idea.

Seems like a good idea.

the fobus/ first samco FAS mount for the fobus piccatinny rail will work w/ the surefire lights. key is to mount the light foreward in the mount so by turning the body the light is activated. very easy install.
i have them in stock if your interested.
