I think I have narrowed my first press down to one of these....The Redding Boss or Big Boss or the T-7 Turret...Could someone please explain the difference between the Boss and Big Boss ?? And is this a good choice for a beginner?

The Big Boss has a larger vertical opening and the length of throw on the ram is longer. This is important if you are using the press for loading long cartridges like the 7mm Rem Mag, 300 Win Mag...etc. I use Redding Ultra Mag presses and have plenty of finger room for seating bullets. Pinched fingers are no fun at the loading bench. Either press you are considering is an excellent product. You won't be disappointed.

Do they both have the primer extraction tubes?
I will only be reloading 357, 38, 40 and 45 ACP in pistol and 223 and 30-30 and maybe 270 in rifle...so do I need the Big Boss?

Going the handgun ammo route you would be better off with a turret press. The Redding is an excellent choice. You might also consider the LEE Classic Turret press. None of the cartridges you listed would require a long throw press but the Redding T-7 and LEE Classic are big enough to do any cartridge.
