Hi folks. Who has one of these? Looks like it might be a fun plinker as a companion to my Ruger P89. Are they reliable? Any experiences from owner would be helpful. Thanks.

I have one. It is a great companion to the P89. It is reliable. Accuracy is Ok, nothing spectacular. Like all Rugers it is very strong. I fired mine with a plugged bore and the rifle was fine afterwards. I think it is fairly expensive, but if this isn't an issue for you, great. I have 9mm carbines that are more expensive and one that is cheaper. The Ruger is as good or better than the other ones I own. I think the Hi-Point is a better buy, but since you already own a P89 then I would go with the Ruger.

If I already had a Ruger 9mm and plenty of pre-ban mags, I would definitely want a PC9.

If I didn't have a Ruger 9mm already, I would probably look at other options.

The PC9 is a strong, well made rifle. It's very traditional in it's design, and not exactly "customizeable" if you have any interest in that sort of thing.
