Not Taliban... this is a video that's been around for a very long time. It's a test of the .577 Tyrannosaur rifle and round. Also, since this is a rifle, I'm moving it to the Rifle forum.

Just because they're Arabs that doesn't mean they are in the Taliban. The people in that video hail from the UAE and they are avid big game hunters IIRC.

Don't know what that rifle is, but it is more than I am willing to fire....

Have fired a .458WinMag ONCE, and since then, I stick to things of less tran 2 tons muzzle energy.

I've been watching the videos on their site and laughing as one after another these guys try to shoot that 577 T Rex....I don't know about you guys, but I think I'd rather get run over by the elephant that shoot that thing.

Anyone remember seeing the clip of Osama bin Laden shooting the AK47?
He's wearing a white robe and shoots a folding stock AK. He kneels down, puts the rifle almost in his shoulder and fires one round. One can see the rifle jump and hit his shoulder. He looks up with a sick smile and someone motions for him to shoot again. He puts his head down (sort of) and cranks off another couple shots. Looks like that rifle is pounding into his shoulder, and he is flinching badly.

If I said he shoots like a girl, I'd have to apologize to Tamara and Runt and Calamity and some others.

He shoots like a sissy. Maybe he should stick to finances and making speaches. He does not come across as a fearless freedom fighter living in caves, tents and the field.

On the other hand, this kid shooting the Tyranosaur has the sand to shoot it more than once. And doesn't seem to flinch into the rifle as much as one would expect.
