I can't believe I did this, but I was in a local gunshop and there was a nice used Colt Diamondback in 38spl. I don't need a new gun but jeez, here in Kalifornia you never see a good Colt revolver used. So, out came the the checkbook and the ten day wait is counting down. I'm a bad, bad boy.:evil:
I also learned that our governor, Arnold, has exempted single shot handguns from the drop test, which means that we here in Kalifornia can now get Contenders, XP100's, Wichita's and the like. Thats good enough to justify a new/old Colt!! Looks like an XP100 is gonna be my second gun this year!

My first revolver of the new year is a Ruger 5 1/2" stainless Single Six 22lr/22wmr combo. Bought it from my dad $275 and he's throwing in a B-Square Weaver scope mount.
