Have a newer model A II .243 Win in the shop for bluing and it's been some time since I've taken the bolt guard off one of these. It's not the cross pin style but has that wee hole in the back of the bolt guard and I thought there was a tab that needed to be depressed (or lifted) before it slides off the front of the bolt. Can anyone give me any ideas? I guess I won't get it in the tanks tomorrow but really need to get it off. Any advise would be appreciated.
