Hey all you THR'ers.

Some of you may remember me from TFL, but unfortunately I have not been able to post much since THR came up since I have been deployed since January. Well, now I am here in An Nasiriyah, Iraq with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit on "computer watch." The good thing about it is the access to the internet. So here I am sending you all greetings from Iraq. Hope all is well back in the states. I look forward to posting again when I get back. Till then...

Hi Sarge.

A great big hello from the U.S. of A. Say hello and thank the men & women of the USMC for us. Ignore the protests. Those guys make a big stink, get a lot of media attention, but even in liberal SF Bay Area 65% of the people support you guys. I'm sure it's higher in rural CA.

Molon Labe!

Highest Regards and a big sweeping tip of the hat to you from those of us that do understand the sacrifices you make.

May God speed and guide you along the way.

Keep your head down and come back safe. And if you can extract a "Pound of Flesh" or two from those that wish to crush our way of life, even better.

It seems to me like you guys have been low on bubble gum since you got there...since all Marines do is kick a$$ and chew...nevermind.

Stay safe.

Tied six yellow ribbons around various trees this weekend. Mostly maple, two sassafras, one of 'em was an oak. All of 'em are for you and the other few hundred thousand of your compatriots.

Watch your six, our thanks, and best wishes for a safe and soon homecoming.

Nice to see your screen name again - it's one I'd missed from TFL, but hadn't seen on other forums, and I was wondering where you'd disappeared to. Come back safe, and visit us often! And as for Saddam and his henchmen, you're already doing it, so I don't have to tell you what to do...

Sarge,

We're all extremely proud of every single one of you! You guys represent the best of America. I know in my community there is not a single protestor (they would not dare raise a fuss even if there was). I wish I could buy your whole company a round of beers. Stay safe, watch your six, and come home soon.

We're all supporting you guys! Don't even pay attention to all those a-holes over here who denigrate your efforts to protect our freedom. You have our thanks.

Sincerely,

Nice to hear from you, you all are doing a great job and everyone here (except a few weirdos) supports everything you are doing.

I went to a "Rally For America" in Cleveland a few weeks ago and was overwhelmed with the number of folks who showed up from all over the mid west.

Is there anything we can do for you, send to you, or your fellow Marines? Care packages? Let us know and we will be glad to help.

We can't wait until every comes home, keep up the good work, and May God Continue to Bless the United States Military.

Stay safe over there.... Insuring and nurturing the spread of democracy can be dangerous at times. We are praying for your safety and continued success. We' ll keep 'em cold here for your quick return and toast ya' with every one! Tell all there how much we appreciate their hard work and sacrifice.

Is there any chance you could enlighten us (well, okay, maybe just me) on what "computer watch" entails? :)
