It's in good condition and comes with one magazine. Synthetic stock. It's a 308-1. I was actually looking for an AK in 7.62X39 but have read that the Saigas are much more accurate and are about as dependable. Is this true?

I know they don't make hi cap mags for these but it did seem to be a well made gun.

So, $300 a good price on this in the East Tennessee area? Problems I should look for or know about in this weapons system? I

Seems like a reasonable price, but you can get Saiga carbines in 7.62x39mm., 5.56x45mm. and 5.45x39mm. as well. New stocks are in-country, and should be hitting dealers this month, and the prices aren't too bad. Check out www.fbmginc.com (run by our own Correia and PvtPyle from THR) for a price list. New ones are below $300.
