Options for converting a 6" M29 to 4"?

Is this something S&W can do or are there certain gunsmiths that do an outstanding job?
Any estimates on price?

The cheapest and easiest way is sell the 6" and buy a 4". If you must swap barrels, and it's not
pinned, I'd send it to S&W because the "post-pinned" barrels are crush fit.

www.cylinder-slide.com could do either for you. They have an extensive price list on their site.
If they have the 4" barrel available, the factory would probably be the 1st place I'd check.
