Those any help? BTW, just do a search for bean bag 12 gauge with any popular search engine, turns up a lot. What do ya want them for?

Alright Brandon Lee... These are technically "Less Lethal" rounds. Do not point them at anyone you do not intend to injure.

Actually, less lethal still means it can be lethal.

Don't point them at anyone you would not be willing (and justified) to kill.

The big question is, why would you want them in the first place?

Concur with Mr. Irwin-

Have you paid attention to previous discussions concerning these? The attendant liability issues? The opinions of those who have to deploy these?

Why on Earth to do you want them?

We discussed less lethal rounds a few months ago in this thread:

Erick,
Perhaps we need a FAQ in each forum for subjects that keep popping up?

As crappy as my 870 was patterning pretty much everything I fired in it was "less lethal." :barf: Hopefully when I get it back next week it will be "more lethal.":D

Jeff-
You "had" to give to me another project didn't you? Actually it's a good idea, but I'll need to find the time for it.

Here's some caveats about this ammo:

1.) With "rubber buckshot", inside a room, you run the risk of those projectiles bouncing off walls and injuring you.

2.) Many of these loads are riot control loads meant to use pain to persuade folks to move along and disperse NOT incapacitate them. Just last week there was a photo of a young woman hit by a rubber bullet at an anti-war protest in Oakland. She had a big goose egg on her cheek, but she was walking and still holding her protest sign. Now, if she was an intruder with a weapon, she's still be holding her weapon. See?

3.) If the pain of a less lethal projectile infuriates the target, you may have wasted your one good shot simply to give him more reason to want to kill you.

4.) The expense of these loads make practice expensive.

5.) There are examples all over the world where "less lethal" methods---from rubber buck and water cannons to sjamboks and lathis---have failed and neccesitated deadly force. With an intruder, you will not have a phalanx of special police behind you with Galils or AKs to back you up if the less lethal loads fail. Consider that some less lethal loads may not extract well from semi-auto shotguns.
