:scrutiny: I found 2 boxes of 5mm magnum rimfire cartridges. They are in the original boxes, 50 rounds in a box. Anyone know what their worth? I don't have the rifle anymore and would sell them. Anyone interested?

Folks with the old 5mm guns will give their 'eye teeth' for them! They are almost 'collector item prices' at gun shows. Good luck but somebody WILL want them!

The ammo is worth more than the rifles themselves. You would think someone would start making the ammo again.

Arkbound;

They are not almost collector items. They are collector items! I haven't seen any around here in some time. I've been looking for a single loaded round because I had a 591 at one time. I neglected to keep one back when I sold the gun, & I'd like to have the one, just so I have one round for every gun I've ever owned. Didn't do it, I'm dumb, oh well.

There was a 5mm rimfire for sale at one of the local stores awhile back. They left the gun out, but locked the ammo in the case. They had 200 rounds for the gun and it was quite expencive.

I bought 6 mint condition boxes at a garage sale last year for $3 a box. Thought I was making out well (until now :banghead: ) when a guy offered me $25 at a gunshow.
