Fellow foromites, please assist me in this grave task. I have been authorized by She Who Holds the Checkbook that I may purchase one large ticket item now and one around christmas time. I have narrowed my choices down to two items, an Aimpoint Comp ML with ALL the mounts or a post ban bushmaster M4gery upper (flattop)- I already have a completed AR in the safe but also have a completed bushy lower just gathering dust. Which would YOU get first?

There's virtually NO danger that the Aimpoint will be banned or completely unavailable by Christmas... With "assault-style" firearms, I'm always a tad paranoid that, if I don't get it NOW, it may not be around later...

I was gonna post this in Rifle Country but the aimpoint threw me off a little.

Well, the "rule of twos" dictates that you should get the other lower completed with the M-forgery uppper. Of course that opens up the quandry that your flat top upper still needs some type of sighting system!
