When and why did these go to $21.00 per box?
Last I looked they were $15.00

Wow, that's a big price hike!!

My last ones were $15 - got two boxes, but that was some months ago.

I guess they finally figured out that they were $7 EACH at Wal Mart......

There's been some discussion about this on other forums. I believe Surefire has instituted across the board price increases, including all products. The A2 is now listed at $195.00 and the L2 for $175.00. I believe there are better deals out there for the 123's, but Surefire batts are still a pretty good deal-just not as good as they used to be. :(

Just Surefire showing their brilliance again. There are far better deals to be found.

Where can I buy 123 batteries cheaper then SureFire? I need to buy a couple boxes again.

I'd say Battery Station. http://www.batterystation.com/cr123a.htm

ETA: Serpico beat me to it, although you may notice that they also have apparently raised their prices. I thought they were $1.25 too.

Amondo Tech (http://www.amondotech.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=241) has them for $1. I haven't bought any yet but am going to give them a try.

$1 sounds real good - tho I wonder if they and others, hearing of Surefire's price hike won't follow suit - at least in part.

Doubt I'll find out yet a while until I get low on present stock.

They are even cheaper if you use the CPF Discount link.. >> http://www.batterystation.com/cpf.htm

(OBTW, you don't actually have to be a CPF/KF member to get the discounted price. Just use that link.) ;)

Yeah, since Surefire raised their price I'll be buying mine from battery station or amondotech from now on.
