Like the scumbag almost 30 years ago that called my then-girlfiend {when I was an Auxillary Reserve Deputy}and told her I had been killed in a shootout. Never caught the person(s) responsible for that [ahem] prank. Girlfriend was never the same, and we broke up a few months later.

Was not on April Fool's day when that happened to me, but I can understand the trauma that would cause the family involved. That would definitely make me want to extract several "Pounds of Flesh" from the guilty party(ies).

I do not have enough words of contempt for anyone that would pull this stunt.
