I've been racking my brain, bumping my head against the desk all night and can't come up with this. Anyway....

What was the name of the double action frame that was introduced for the 1911 about 25 years ago?

For the life of me, I can't remember it!

(I was going to ask how this frame held up, but since I couldn't remember the name...)

Thanks in advance.

Double action or double stack?Para Ordnance is the high cap, double stack name you're looking for, double action is a trigger type and that would not necessarily have the frame involved...

"Double Eagle" was the first 1911 double action frame I had heard of, following that, was that odd Colt "All American 2000" or whatever it was called.

Apparently, this DA frame just didn't catch on.
