Congrats Lars! Does the headspace check out ok? It really wounldn't matter to me if it didnt, If the price was right I would just install a GI bolt and have fun.

I don't have a head space guage yet. I'll probably order one this week. I also need to get some magazines.

you'll have to replace the barrel and bolt with one of GI specs for it to keep headspace, more'n likely.



fulton armory has a bunch of information on this.

If the headspace is out of spec, it may simply need a GI bolt-its the chicom bolt that is soft. Often the barrel is Ok.
