This is the first half of my "collection", I'll try to load the other half. Glock 19, two of them, Glock 21, Marlin Model 60, Ruger 10/22 and Remington 870.

And here's the rest, Remington 700 .30-06, M1 Garand, SLR-95 and a PTR-91. What do you think? :)

Very well rounded collection indeed. How about the addition of a wheel gun. Good collection at any rate.

Thanks MS .45, I've had wheelies before and have been thinking about getting another, but just don't know, S&W Model 10, Vaquero, just haven't felt the real "urge" yet.

Looks good to me. How do you like you Glock 21? Have you done any mods/upgrades? What holster do you like for it? Reason I ask is I just bought one yesterday. Have to wait 10 days to pick it up on the way to the range.

This is my third Glock 21 over the years and have realized that selling them to try something else just didn't pan out. Always came back to the G21 and am here to stay :). I can just shoot this handgun better than any other's I've tried and/or bought. I sold it because I "thought" it was too big, but comparatively speaking, it's not. The only mod I've done to all my Glocks is have the 3.5lb disconnector installed, it makes a world of difference, otherwise it's stock. I haven't bought a holster for it yet, but I do have experience with Galco holsters and love them and will probably go with another.

You don't hunt upland game or varmits, do you?

If you did, you'd probably have a SXS or OU shotgun, and a varmit rifle.

With the exception of those 2 (admittedly specialty) items, you have a well-chosen collection. Good job!

It'd be hard to imagine a situation of any kind that you wouldn't have covered with that collection. As an afterthought, just to cover ammo/user considerations, a .357 wheel gun might be in order. Lot's of .38 ammo out there and anyone can use a revolver.
At best though, that suggestion is a nit-pick
You got the whole tamale covered!

Looks like that will get the job done for the most part

Shotgun, .22 rifle, centerfire rifle, defensive handgun.

I'd say you're covered.

add a .22 pistol or revolver and call it done.

You need a .22 conversion for those G19s and a .357 revolver... then you're done. :D

1911

Nice collection!

If it were my collection I might consider a 1911 (Colt or nice custom), a wheel gun, say a S&W 629 44 mag., and for good measure an AR-15 in M-4 configuration (Colt, Bushmaster, Rock River Arms). The 1911 and AR-15 have .22 cal kits available, and if ya like a light load for a 44 mag unless you reload 44 specials work fine.

PS: ya at least gotta get a 1911! LOL

1911

Yeah, 1,911 rounds of ammo maybe.

I agree--a .22 pistol and a .357 revolver should round out the handguns pretty well unless you want to handgun hunt or feel the need for a big bore magnum and then I would skip the .357 and get a .44 Mag.

Rifle collection looks pretty good. Maybe a speedy .22 caliber centerfire for 300 yards varmints if you are interested in specializing. In truth there is little or nothing that a rifle can do that your collection can't unless you plan on going after something big and angry.

1911 would be nice but not necessary. 357mag or 44mag revolver and a 22lr handgun would have you covered pretty well.

You do have a sweet collection going here hopefully you have invested in a nice safe too. I do agree with what has been said about wheel guns and 22 pistols I would recommend a S&W 686 or a Colt Python if you can find one. On the 22 pistol side I would go with a Browning BuckMark Ruger is good too but you just cant beat the brownie.

Stay safe in the sand box.

Very nice collection. Of course, I'm biased, mine started very similar (Glock 17 instead of 19, Savage instead of Remington, and M1A instead of PTR-91).

The only thing I'd say you're lacking is a .22 pistol. If you plan on getting a 1911 as has been suggested, I'd recommend the Ruger 22/45, as the controls are the same.

My sister-in-law (who went shooting with us for the first time a couple weeks ago) loved it that she could start on the 22/45 and then have the same controls on my Sistema Colt.
