Who is Benny?
May I ask what it set you back?
I'm considering a Brazos or Dawson in the medium future, but other options are always welcome.
Very fast and accurate with that FO front sight and my Montanna Gold Bullet handloads.

Nice looking blaster. I wonder if Benny is still having Tripp do all of his hardchrome? I have had several Benny Hill built IPSC guns. I loved the Fat Free six inch he made for me and the single stack .38 Super/9X3 Caspian was really nice. I see Benny has changed his slide lightening cuts and cocking serrations. How does the gun shoot?

I talked to him today, and he didn't mention anything about switching away from Tripp. My lightened 9x19 is due here shortly.

Thanks all for the compliments.
Ankeny, Tripp did my chrome and does all of the plating for Benny as far as I know. My slide lightening cuts may not be 'normal' for what Benny is doing now, you would have to ask. I think there is some cutting under the rear sight as well, but I am not going to push it out to see:D The cocking serrations are a little slick.
It shoots great. Very accurate, I haven't done any serious group shooting with it yet but it would not surprise me at all if it was well under 3" at 50 yards. It is also stone reliable so far.
LP, very nice gun and a fantastic picture. Those Brazos 'portholes' are awesome, hard to find a more cosmetically appealing way to rip weight out of the slide.

LeadPumper:
Just purchased a Brazos SC Limited (used) identical to yours. Like yours, a truly beautiful piece of work. Looking for your Montana Gold loads that shot so well if you don't mind sharing.
All I have is the original recommended loads that came from Bob with the gun (180gr JHP Zero load). Looking for an alternative or two just in case.
Many thanks,
