I recently picked up a 1916 Colt New Service revolver.
The gun was Canadian issue (with proof marks) and was in .455Eley. It has been rechambed for .45LC.
The gun shoots great. The only question are the mystery marks on the side of the frame. The previous owner had no information either. Importation marks perhaps?
