I recently bought a NIB Dan Wesson RazorBack, a 1911 10mm. I need to get additional magazines for it and found that no one lists the RazorBack, or Dan Wesson for their products.

After searching the various forums, and looking at several on-line suppliers it looks like if I get a colt 1911 10mm magazine it should work.

Can anyone confirm that for me, or tell me what magazines would work?

Thanks in advance.

Any magazine for a 1911 Colt 10mm will work..

Razorbacks use to come with Metalforms.

I like Metalforms and Tripp's Cobramags.

Mecgar makes them too. I have had good luck with them in my Delta Elite.

I have Razorback #101.

It came with 5 Metalforms but I have had 100% reliability with Colt and Shooting Star 10mm magazines as well.

I have been able to use standard and mecgar .45 mags in my 10mm delta elite. They feed fine and lock the slide back etc. Have not had one single issue with the .45 mags. They don't feed any better or worse than the 10mm mags do.

What did you have to shell out for the Wesson? $$$

I got it off a Gunbroker from a gun shop in Ohio for about $800 with shipping and FFL transfer. There was and still are at least a couple more up for bid, but they all start around $1000. They all seem to be by the same seller (different from the one that sold me mine).

10mm 1911 mags ...

Here's a link to my review and range report on Tripp's 9-rd Cobra mags and Metalform's 10-rd mags.

If you can find them, Colt's 8-rd mag for the Delta should also work fine.
