A Mexican government commission said Tuesday it will distribute at least 70,000 maps showing highways, rescue beacons and water tanks in the Arizona desert to curb the death toll among illegal border crossers.
"We are not trying in any way to encourage or promote migration," said Mauricio Farah, one of the commission's national inspectors. "The only thing we are trying to do is warn them of the risks they face and where to get water, so they don't die."
You have GOT to be kidding me !

Hopefully they'll include a route to Crawford, TX.
Maybe Jorge Bush will welcome the invaders with open arms, but the nation won't.

So instead of stopping what an illegal act, before it occurs, they are going to aid in it...Oh wait, they are getting rid of all of the people that they do not desire to have in their own country. I get it now. :barf:

The United States should also offer special maps to Mexicans => with north/south cleverly switched! Mexican illegal aliens would then find themselves in Panama rather than Arizona! Call Rand McNally!

This is insane. If this isn't a wake-up call to Americans I don't know what is. Can you imagine the chaos if newspapers started printing "aid" maps out of maximum security prisons?
"But we want them to be safe and get water"

This is no surprise… It has been known for years that the Mexican government provides logistical support of many kinds to illegal border-crossers, including drug smugglers. :cuss:
But on the other hand on our side, the border patrol has flagged points with water and other supplies – this as a humanitarian gesture. :what:
Then they want funds to erect a fence of questionable effectiveness.
Obviously, all of this is sending out a mixed message… :banghead:

If i recall correctly they've been doing things like this for a while.
Last i'd heard, they were handing out pamphlets in the border towns telling the buggers how to avoid trouble with the law, get jobs, find housing, exploite government programs etc. etc.

"What's next? Are they going to buy them bus tickets to Chicago?" said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, a Washington-based think tank. "It's clearly a bad thing for Mexico to be encouraging illegal immigration."
Answer: Yes, "they" will be buying them bus tickets. And the "they" will be the U.S. Gov't. Only a matter of time, folks. As I said y'day, we are nothing but bystanders in this process of globalist re-settlement.

why don't we replace all of the water tanks with cleverly disguised, human-sized mousetraps made to LOOK like water tanks?

We just need to announce a new policy:
Anyone caught crossing the border illegally will be arrested and held until no threat can be determined then they will be deported. Anyone resisting arrest or attempting to flee will be assumed to be conducting illegal/terrorist activities and will be fired upon.
That might make the Mexican Gov a little less egar to support immigrants and drug runners.

All too often our handgun-equipped officers find themselves facing folks from the other side that have automatic weapons. On other occasions you have one of ours with a semi-automatic rifle against several of their's with automatic weapons. The ones running drugs have enough money to obtain anything they want in the way of firearms, and maybe Mexican Army protection too boot. (although I wouldn't be surprised if the "runners" weren't better equipped.) This is hardly an even playing ground if somebody starts a fight, which is one reason our people don't.
Obviously there is no backup coming from Washington either... :cuss:

I came up with an idea a while back, why not have national gaurd and active military units spend time partoling the border. It would take some of the pressure off the border patrol, and train our soldiers in similar enviroments and situations as to what they would encounter in Iraq.
Desert enviroment, encounters with people who may not speak english, and encounters with people who may or may not be hostile.
I think I would raise the level of training, especially of Nat. Gaurd/Reserve units, and help secure our borders.

I think it's time we can gave enterprising Americans maps of Baja California and set about reclaiming it. (We can always cite Kelo.)

Mexicans working in the United States are a huge source of revenue for Mexico, sending home more than $16 billion in remittances in 2004, Mexico's second largest source of foreign currency after oil exports according to the country's central bank.
HMMMMM Now all you good people would not want to see our good friends to the South go bankrupt would you. Our economy not only supports the poor struggling class in China, but forms the 2nd largest source of foreign currency. What's fair, is fair. Be generous ... if you can give it to the Chi-Coms, you can share it with the Mexicans. :scrutiny:
