I was thinking that since we already have all our equipment and troops in the Middle East, it would make sense for us to at least ponder "overthrowing" the other evil rulers in the area.

As the wrestler Goldberg once said, "who's next?"

After we are finally able to say this war is over and the entire middle east realizes that we won't stand for any more crap (at least as long as we have a Repubican in office!), I doubt they'll be as vocal as they were in the past. The big worry then will be OBL & his band of jack holes!

All of the above. :D

Seriously, we will just set up Iraq and go home.

It ain't pleasant having a lion setting next to you eating a jackal it had just killed, especially if you're also a jackal.

Let them sweat it out, waiting for the lion to wander off or for it to attack them.

Syria ! :fire:

I'd also make plans to bomb the nuclear reactor in Iran. Heck, we have forces to the west and east of Iran. Now is the time to do it.;)

Korea. Whether we like it or not. Ten million in Seoul. Tens of thousands of American troops. Japan and others well within range of their missiles. Frightened, desperate dictator, whose only card is nuclear blackmail. It's not a happy mix.

I think Iran will take themselves off the list before too long. That country is headed for another revolution soon, and there's a lot of people that are starting to remember that things weren't really all that bad before 1979....

NONE at present. Syria and the other arab nations were watching the Iraq situation closely and we can be absolutely certain they did NOT like what they saw, at least in terms of their own abilities to defend against the American forces with this president in office. As long as we keep Dubya in office we should be okay, other than an occasional minor show of force...or if Osama and company manage to achieve control of a country and also have to be stomped into the ground once and for all, though I would expect that the other Arab states would be just as glad to see him go 6 feet under as we would.

How about DC? Seems to me the biggest threat to America is there...
