Does anyone have any experience with these in a Remington 870? I was thinking i would like to try some all steel or all brass shotshells because of the cool noises they would make while chambering and hitting the ground upon ejection and i also think it would be a good way to shoot cheap ammo and not have the extraction problems that seem to occur all too often with cheapo winchester bulk 7 1/2 shot that i've been using.

At midway its only l$55.99 for a case of 170 shells of 2 3/4 BBB, which doesn't sound too bad when you consider that the shells are all steel (normally about the same thing in plastic shotshells would be $20 cheaper... if you could find it in BBB)

One last question: Is there anyone that still makes all brass shot shells? I know magtech makes some but that is not live ammo, just the shells. Or even paper shot shells? I would just like to try something other than plastic for a while.

I think the shells are steel shot (the BBs inside the shell), not steel shell cases.

I stand corrected. I guess steel is in abundance over there!

Shame you can't reload them......

Duckslayer,

Lots of T34's, T62's, submarines, etc been/being turned into high quality scrap.
