On MSMBC, they showed incredible footage of a big firefight that took place today near Baghdad.

Sadly, 2 US troops were killed and 30 wounded during this hard battle.

MSNBC showed a scene of an injured Marine (?) being carried away on a stretcher.

While being carried on the stretcher, the Marine leveled his M-16 at the enemy and fired 2 rounds.

According to the MSNBC reporter, this wounded Marine, while on the stretcher, hit his "target" TWICE !!!

"MRE toilet paper..."

A friend of mine who was in the reserves said, and I think in all seriousness, that the reason for the tobasco sauce in the MRE was NOT for the food, but to sprinkle on the toilet paper to kill the sting! :eek: :eek:

the Marine with the bullet hole in his left calf (bleeding pretty badly) who was standing behind a tank reloading his rifle when a corpsman came up and started cutting away his pants leg. Then you could hear the corpsman yelling "be still".

I wondered what was going on and then the camera pulled back and this Marine was dragging himself to the front of the tank so he could shoot at the BGs some more. All the time dragging the corpman along, still trying to get to the wound .

According to Col. David Perkins, commander of the 3rd I.D.'s 2nd Brigade, it was one of his troops who, while being carried on a stretcher, used a shotgun to kill an RPG wielding Iraqi. I just saw the Colonel's comments on FOX news.

However, it has been reported that Don Rumsfeld has ordered all Kryptonite removed from Iraq because the Marines aren't very fond of it...
