According to this article, the UK is offering Iraqis an "amnesty" to turn in their guns.
To paraphrase the a UK military official...
Iraq is a gun culture, and most guns are held LEGALLY...taking these guns out of circulation is the key to Iraq's future.

In my humble opinion, if we are to "give" the Iraqi people real freedom, it should include the freedom we are given in the 2nd Amendment -- "the right to keep and bear arms."

What do you think about this "gun grab" and should the Iraqi people have the freedom to "keep and bear arms" like we do in the USA?
