Mine does. I have heard some don't come with them. I think the night sights are a later model.

I believe that some have white painted dots, others have glow in the dark phospherous-impregnanted paint (like the glow in the dark kids toys, my two have these type), and the most desireable models have tritium vials (but those are hardly ever brought into the country).

Both of mine came in with painted sights!:( Theyre gonna go in the nearest trash can because of it-that puts me in a RAGE!!!

Tropical: Dont throw them away that fast. Leave the guns in a bright room for a while, then turn off the lights. If the sights are the phospherous type, they will glow slightly in the dark, but look like they are just dirty white paint during daylight.

I've got two Yugos. One came with the Phospherous sights, the other with Tritium vials. Unfortunately the Tritium is pretty dim now.

My Yugo SKS (with m-66 grenade launcher and blade bayonet) has flip-up tritium nite sites. There is a post in the front that flips up to cover the front day sight, and the rear night sight rotates from underneath and covers the rear day sight. The front night sight is a short vertical line and the rear is two short horizontal lines. The sight picture is kind of like this ---l--- . I actually figured out that they were night sights by accident as I was turning the light off in the room as I walked out of it with the rifle in my hand. Definitely a neat surprise. :) I love this rifle.

Best, Steve

Wow! I didn't know there were different kinds of night sights on these guns.

I just check mine again and it has a Tritium vial front sight and two glow in the dark painted round dots on the rear. I guess I have a hi bred or something.:D The front sight is much brighter and the sights look like this: "oIo" sort of.

Mine has no night sight provisions of any kind.

How do you tell the difference between tritium and phosphorus?

Tritium will be in little glass vials, Phosphorus is just painted on.
