Online Poll! Go vote!

Should Cindy Sheehan run for Senate?
I say hell yeah!
(She'd be running against Feinstein, who rides the SF moonbat vote to the disgust of the rest of us.)
At least this would give the moonbats something to sweat about, and at best, could split the looney left vote and allow someone else to get in.
Give your support and help convince the little media whore to best exploit her last gasp!

Not to support or condem Ms. Sheehan's bid for the Senate, but don't most polls have more than one option? At the very lest an option to say 'no'. This is little more and a nameless tally of people across the globe that support Ms. Sheehan. And at a little over 5k for the entire population of the internet, thats kind of sad.:(

Still, a poll consists of 'Do you agree with A: 1)yes 2)no' or 'What do you feel about A: 1)B 2)C 3)D'.
A poll does not consist of 'You agree with A, yes?'

You've never heard of Dianne Feinstein?
She is elected by a strong contingent of Bay Area moonbats. Divvy them up by giving them an even loonier alternative, and we might get a Senator who at least isn't anti-gun. We means the whole country.
Yes, this does matter to you down there in the Confederacy, since you lost the war and we all live under the same stupid Federal laws.

Speaking of stereotypes, the usual garbage that this sort of thread provokes, I am not a native southerner and have few particularly southern political sentiments.
To take my own turn, if Californians would seriously want to trade Feinstein for Sheehan, I would rather not read about their nonsense, certainly not here.

I can't see how this belongs on THR. If this thread (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=179535) gets multiple pages, with the blessings (and participation) of the mods, then a thread about Feinstein v. Cindy should get 2X that many.

The laws* in CA have been under the control of the Zany party for far too long. I think it's high time for the independent Moonbats to come out from under their misguided little rocks and create some honest to goodness strife in the party. While they argue amongst themselves, CA might accidently elect somebody who can use reason rather than pure emotion when discussing law.
I would rather not read about their nonsense, certainly not here.
Hmmm. Too obvious to suggest you don't read what you'd rather not?

* BTW - It's not just gun laws. Plenty of insanity for everyone.

You don't understand that all new threads are read rightfully expecting to find a gun connection, unless the title listed makes it clear that someone posted something off topic.

Lessee, RealGun...
I know a few natives of South Carolina and I really like them all. What they have in common is a sense of humor. So don't worry, I won't be thinking you're one of them, and thus applying any stereotypes to you.
Now it appears that you don't understand the significance of splitting the vote as a political strategy, or you don't know that Dianne Feinstein is the author of the newest "assault weapon" ban, and the most anti-gun Senator that anyone takes seriously (Kerry and Kennedy have just made utter fools of themselves -- she's smarter and perhaps more evil). Everyone else here does. Perhaps you could just leave this thread alone?

Anyone else find it ironic that she uses Perot's failed attempt and eventual splitting of the conservative vote that put Clinton in office as justification for her to run.
I predict that if she does run, she may split the liberal vote just enough to get a, dare say, republican senator in, OMG, that would be sweet.
GO CINDY!

I don't think someone as crazy as Cindy Sheehan could win anywhere but California.
But I don't see how having her run would help us, unless she ran as an independant. If Sheehan and Feinstein faced off in the primaries, whichever won would be the next Senator. There aren't enough "sane" Democrats who would abstain from voting if Sheehan was the Democratic nominee... they'd vote for her if for no other reason than to make sure that a Republican didn't wind up with the seat.

If a thread on Dianne Feinstein's odds of a primary fight is not on topic in Legal and Political, I don't know why it's here.
Definitely on topic in my eyes. Dianne Feinstein has chosen to link herself to the political issue of gun control, so she's linked.

Fine with me. Sheehan for Senator!
She'd be in so far over her head, neither party would consider her a threat. Does Boxer have a lot of clout? No. Why? She's a dumbass and everyone now knows it. Her questioning of Rice's integrity was her last political gasp. And Boxer is Lincoln compared with Sheehan.
I'd rather my state have a West Highland Terrier as a Senator than Feinstein.

Maybe we could get Courtney Love to run, too - she'd win with the druggie/rock/porn voting block.
Courtney Love, U.S. Senator - ROFLAMO!! Whatever you do Courtney, don't ever go for a ride with Chappaquiddick Ted!!!
