With my Super Redhawk with a 4X Leupold loaded with 360WFN @ 1500fps, I can keep all six shots inside 4" most of the time using a rest.

I like to shoot handguns at long range - well, it's long range for me. We've got a 12 inch piece of metal pipe (12 inches in diameter) hung up at 200 yds. at the city range where I volunteer as a range master. I'd shoot at something further away, but 200 yds. is all we've got. I shoot it with my Ruger Single Six (6 inch .357) and my Freedom Arms .454 (7.5 inch ported). From the .454 I'm shooting 300 gr. Laser Cast bullets, small rifle mag. primer and 29.5 gr. of H110. I have a Leupold 2x scope I had mounted on a 6 inch FA 454 in a TSOB mount, but last year I shot the 7.5 inch with iron sights. On good days the pipe wil ring for almost every shot. With the .357 it's a lot of fun, I'll take a big mayonaise jar full of bullets and just bang away at that thing when the range isn't busy. The .454's are a bit punishing and I'll usually limit my shooting sessions to 20 shots. I'd like to try some 250 gr. bullets (lead) eventually, but I've got a lot of the 300 gr. to use up first.
