Know of any online basic gun safety sites? Preferably non political...

My boss told me he wants to go shooting - he has never shot a gun before.
Several other people at work have said the same thing.
Does anyone know of any sites that have really basic info for beginners - telling them what to expect, how to be safe, the basics on marksmanship and good practices, etc?
This would be a good primer to give to people before taking them out.
Does the NRA have anything like this? Something nice and gentle, no paranoia from either camp.
Thanks

IIRC, the major firearms manufacturers have the basic safety rules on their websites. Beretta and Ruger do.
It is also a good way to trick somebody into seeing a bunch of stuff they might want to try out and buy.

Also check out www.ihea.com
It's a hunter education site, and thoroughly discusses basic safety rules, but IMO goes too far, such as "never have a loaded gun in the house" stuff that is great for 12 year old kids just learning, but not necessarily the best advice for adults.
