If that Pietta is a comp model with the progressive rifling then go for it. Don't delay - do it TODAY!
Mine is just a great piece to shoot.

The target model for $250.00 is really cheap. It's hard to believe they are selling an Uberti for that price and a target model too! Something just don't seem right, but Dixie has done some strange sales in the past. Mike
PS Before buying I think I would call them and ask how or why they are selling it that chap???

Had some disappointments with these offerings from dixie, FOUR of the "Progressive-Rifling Taget Models" exchanged before any good came of it.

In fact, so many Oddly timed, poorly made jobs you could buy your revolver in the shipping fees i've spent!

The Remmie Stainless taget models have front sights you can throw a cat through between sight&barrel, bought a few of these too!

GOOD luck!

To tell you the truth I have heard several times just what Manyirons is saying about Dixie. There is a reason for these revolvers to be this cheap and It just may be that they are seconds from Pietta and Uberti . I could be wrong but it just seems to be a thing with Dixie lately, Mike

Didn't Gmatov or Old Elm, Or was it Tinker2, get one and it was pretty bad, and I think he sent it back and told them to try again. I think the target models are a bad run or they have been in stock for a long time. Could be they all have something wrong with them. For that cheap price almost 50% off i'm thinking.....????

OD,

Waren't me. Bought auction, bought Cabela's. Cabela's had a big scratch on the barrel, took it to the WVA store for exchange. Excellent in looks(they let me open it to look), excellent shooter.

Then the 36 Rem , AN, 1985, never fired, gun show.

Like to cut a couple dovetails on one of these and some adjustable sights.

Cheers,

George
