I'm in the market for a BRV, not in a big hurry, but shopping around. Who has the best prices?
I'm looking for concealable, hand gun stopping levels, with the ability to add a trauma plate for protection against intermediate rifle rounds.

From what I've heard and read, Second Chance makes some of the most comfortable high performance body armor. Their president, Richard Davis, goes so far to prove his product's worth that he shoots himself whilst wearing one! :what:
I myself wear a Second Chance Monarch, in Level II. Common practice among LEOs is to wear a vest that will stop the ammunition that you are currently carrying.
As for prices, eBay is awesome, but you must be knowledgable about what you are buying. If auction sites aren't your cup of tea, try www.bulletproofme.com. They sell a variety of new vests, along with surplus or police trade-ins that are just as good as new. They also sell trauma and rifle plates.
