I have a friend who has a SIG P220 that I've always loved. I'm a 1911 guy but that's a fine pistol. I've always threatened him that I was going to bonk him on the head sometime so I could take his SIG. He says he'll leave it to me in his will. :p

I couldn't wait anymore (he seems to be quite healthy) so I ordered one of the police trade-in's from SOG...they seem to be getting scarce and when CDNN or SOG get them in they don't stick around very long...at least the P220's don't.

My FFL was supposed to order a handpick but he forgot. This one isn't in too bad shape but had quite a bit of holster wear and a funky spot (previous surface rust that had been cleaned off?) on the left side of the slide. It also had a scuff all along the bottom edge of the trigger guard...like someone had scraped it on concrete. The barrel was full of gunk. Some cold blue covered up most of the holster wear/funky spots. A "sight blackining" pen covered up the scuffs. Cleaned the barrel and it is bright and shiny. Probably carried a lot and shot little...little to no wear on the slide rails. Tight slide fit. Crisp single action trigger. DA not too bad.

$379. Not bad given that new ones are $800, "pre-owned from SIG" are $600. Not a bad pistol for the price...we'll see how it shoots.

Wow, you got a hell of a deal there. I paid $450 for my used 220. Haven't shot it a lot yet, probably 200 rounds, but no issues so far. And yes, the SA trigger is amazing. No creep whatsoever.
