I noticed in the Charter 2000 2003 catalog that they have reintroduced the Pathfinder, in both .22 LR and .22 Mag.
Anyone on this forum have one? I like the concept of a 16 ounce .22 Mag revolver .....

I have the Charter Arms Pathfinder manufactured back in the 70s and it is a very accurate and fun gun to shoot. I generally use it when teaching someone unfimiliar to guns to shoot a DA revolver.
There are/have been some quality control problems with Charter Arms/ Charter 2000 firearms manufactured since the late 80s. If you do get one, you may want to test fire it prior to purchasing or make sure the dealer will take it back if you have problems with it.

The guns made by "charco" seemed to be crappy but the charter 2000 ones seem to be pretty decent for the money.I think i would give it the used revolver check before buying one, however i do that with any used or new revolver no matter who makes it.
