A friend has one and took it to the range in our conceal and carry class.
worked fine but was not real accurate. He ended up using one of the spares I had.

Too bad, Detonics has some neat concepts.

I'm fascinated by their StreetMaster: gripframe even shorter than Officer, but full gov't-length slide.

Are they having just early teething problems, not checking the QC carefully, or just not great designs?

I'd say that was a fluke. I've seen great reports on the 9-11-01.

gun was great just not as accurate as some others. Smooth and went bang everytime.

I believe he was talking about the new 9-11-01 which is a full-size piece.

Rumor has it that Detonics will be showing a new model at Las Vegas with the short Combat Master frame and a Commander-length slide.

I have a 9-11-01 but as yet unfired. Can't seem to get the weather and my schedule to cooperate for a trip to the range.
