I've always ordered my ammo supplies from them for the last few years. Federal American Eagle (45ACP & 40S&W) used to go for < $10 a box if you buy one whole case (1000 rounds). Now their 45ACP FMJ is almost $17.00. The 44Mag 240gr JHP is used to get for $18.50 is now $27.42. Wow! I guess I'll have to go back to using S&B. How about PMC and Aguila ammunition? Are they clean enough to use? I can't believe that even their CCI Blazer ammo prices also increased quite a bit.

There has been big price increases by all. I think the days of cheap ammo are starting to falter.

Reload!

Lee Anniversary kit is the most affordable to get started, less than $100 including dies. Progressive presses start at twice that.

The ammo price creep started just before Christmas. Don't know where it started but I wish it would stop. Everyone seems to be catching it.

Winchester had a price increase on the Ranger products in mid November. I have not raised my prices since my main competitor lowered his prices to match mine.

One of us will have to concede first and raise our price. Right now we are selling the 40 cal at cost and almost making nothing on 45 ammo sales.

Reloading is always a good idea,,,BUT,,reloading componets have also taken a big increase in price, I just got my MidSouth catalog yesterday and was amazed at the increases in bullet prices......Knew I should have bought more last year!:uhoh:

According to its Natchez's web site, American Eagle .45 ACP is $8.89 per box if you order at least 10 (http://www.natchezss.com/ammo.cfm?contentID=productDetail&ammoRecID=2&brand=FA&prodID=FAAE45A&CFID=2048702&CFTOKEN=47121174).

My bad... I didn't open up the product details and did not see the discount for bulk purchases. Thanks for pointing that out, Cawdor.

Ammo is heavy and I expected some price increases as fuel started/continues to climb.

Gives you a good "justification" to stock up;)

Look for deals and buy by the case. What possible use is there for less than 1000 rounds anyway :p

I noticed the same thing in my MidwayUSA catalog I just received. Seems like there was a noticable price increase across the board on most products. Hopefully, this significant of a price increase will keep them from raising prices for a good long while.
