I goofed the Trooper I bought recently is in bad need of a retiming job. Misfired in DA are the norm with off center firing pin strikes. I would also like to have the trigger pull reduced considerably. It feels so heavy compared to my tuned Smith 610. I paid 250 for it so I don't think I was taken. It has nickle finish thats in almost perfect shape. Who do you all recomend for action jobs on colts. Also it has a 6 inch barrel. How much do you think it would run to have the barrel chopped to 4 inches.

The good folks at http://www.cylinder-slide.com know what they're doing with Colt revolvers. They're slow and expensive, but competent, which is more than can be said for all gunsmiths.
