NRA-PVF Emergency Letter - Good idea or does it give fuel to the antis?

I received a letter today from the NRA-PVF that I'm sure most of you got as well. The first line in the letter declares and emergency and details recent losses to anti gunners in several states.

To me this letter almost seems like it could be used as fuel by the antis. They could state that people should read the latest NRA letter. That even according to the NRA they are winning. They will get the upper hand in the next election. Vote with us and the NRA is defeated.

Is it just me or does anyone else agree that could be the message presented to any anti reading this letter? I know it's supposed to motivate us to do things, but I'm not sure this is the right tone for the letter.

Just wondering.

Wondering what anti-Second Amendment bigots might "think" is like trying to teach cats to whistle: not quite the most productive activity one might imagine.
