.45 major pf

Hello there,
Does anybody have a recipe for Hornady 200gr CT and VVN320 or any powder (clean) that will give me major pf. I am going to try the provisionary single stack class and i have plenty of this bullets. I searched already but i cant find it so please if anybody knows the thread please lead me there.

VV 2nd edition (1995) gives the following data for a 200 gr. Hornady FMJ-CT using an OAL of 1.240": 5.1 gr. N320 for 878 fps starting @ 15000 psi; 5.8 gr. N320 for 983 fps max @20000 psi. You only need 825 to make major now, so anything in this range should get you there.

As always, check the books yourself, or check their websites.

I recommend Clays, 4.3ish grains should get you really close to major. DEAD clean burning too.
