Hornady 87-grainers and IMR 4350

Anyone know what the recommended starting charge is for IMR 4350 and the Hornady 87-grain spitzers in .243? I can't find anything in my load manuals.

Out of the Lyman 47th edition for a 85 gr sptizer it shows a starting load of 38 gr of IMR 4350 (velocity of 2844) and a max load of 44 gs. (velocity of 3283). Hope this will help you.

Yes, I have the Lyman 47th edition and the Lee Second Edition, but they give Hornady's odd weight bullets short shrift.

This should give you a starting point as I believe that 2 grains of bullet weight won't make that much difference.
