Underlined

Just a thought, given the size of the box for thread topics, it seems to be easier on the eyes if the topics are not underlined.

Underlined links are the closest thing to an Internet Standard as you'll find. Having links underlined makes them easier to find on a page filled with text.

For these reasons and others, even if it were easy to accomplish this change, I doubt that we would.
