Does anyone else feel, well, I don't realy know how to explain it.

Like that I guess. :p
I'm waiting for my next rifle to arrive. One that I have wanted for years...
Almost can't sit still. :(
Guess I'm fortunate to be single at the moment, cause when I finaly get it, I would get in a lot of trouble for spending as much time with my new rifle as I plan to... ;)

When I buy a new rifle, I usually take 6 months to research and think about it.
But when I finally buy it, our state law makes me wait a day before she is mine.
Oh my, that is the longest day.
I know how you feel Kobun.

Stinger,
Man, I am moving. I love Houston by the way. Go there on business now and then. It is so wide open. And the women there are, well, they are very nice !!!. CCW, and good gun laws, what am I waiting for?

Don't leave me hangin' here. So, what is it??;)
Let me guess. It's something that can't be had here in the States, right?
:D

Yup Schuey, it is something you can't get there. :(
I didn't want to rub it in though, so you have to actively click to see. (http://www.sig-550.com/images/memberguns/SIG552RailDown.jpg)
This is something that I believe, even in TX, you can't just go in and buy.
Some things in life you just have to wait for...
I'm getting the model with the picatinny rail, black stock (although I'm sick of black guns :p ).
The order is in. This is realy happening. http://www.handykult.de/plaudersmilies.de/jump.gif

You don't know how lucky you are.
OBTW, we can get those here. It only costs you "an arm & leg" to buy one. They currently run anywhere from $8,000-$10,000 USD for one in minty condition. (The 551 SWAT runs around 9-10K, while the 550 is only slightly cheaper.) Oh! They are semiauto only.. :what:
Congratulations, Kobun, now I'm really jealous.. :D

Schuey, I DO know how lucky I am. :)
I already have the police breathing down my neck... cause they want to test the rifle when I get it. :D
Guess the previous SG distributor didn't do too good of a job selling these things, as I was asked by Swiss Arms to take over the importation.
So, if you need any (legal) parts, just let me know. :)
I'm already working on shipping AUG parts to a police dep in the US, so why not SG (SIG) parts?
I'm wondering if there is someone here on THR who is a class 3 dealer with good contacts. Would probably make selling parts in the US easier.
I just don't know what it is with me and guns that are a bit different then mainstream...
When people see something they haven't seen anyplace else than in computer games, they automatically guess (right) that its my gun. :D
It realy is too bad I can't bring some of them with me next time I come to the US. :(
I think the US gov should let us friendly foreigners bring our non full auto guns with us when we visit.
My gov even lets foreigners in here with full auto, short barreled, hi-cap, supressed, folding stock rifles, as long as they have a valid reason for it... Like for shooting a competition.
