Can anyone help me identify these bayonets? I am only sure of one of them. My father brought them back from Europe towards the end of WWII. Thanks!

The two with cruciform blades appear to be French. See the pics at http://www.rememuseum.org.uk/arms/blade/armbay.htm and that might help-

The best I can tell so far, from left to right:
German K98, Austrian 1895, Dutch 1895 and two French lebels 1886's .

but I don't know which one. The two with the two rivets through the crossguard are Czech. The spike bladed ones are french but again, I don't know which one. Go to ebay and look at the bayonet auctions. You will probably see yours there. There are at least 3 pages every day........chris3

Did they make different varieties of the bayonet in picture 1 on top left. Did some have screws and some rivets? I was given one by my grandpa who served from 44-45 in Europe with the 44th Division. His bayonet has markings and I need to figure a good web site to decifer them. Any help? Blade number is 2432 with b under that. Scabbard is 3725 with n below that. number 40 on top side of blade near handle. Very top of handle has number 655 655 with some sort of insignia above both of the numbers. Screw together handle--not wood--plastic? I don't think so. Thanks for any input. Do markings tell date, location of make?

I have an old japanese one with the emperial crysanthemum or whatever it is on it. Do you think these things have any monetary value? (Not that I'd ever think of selling something like that.) My grandfather made the mistake of giv9ng up his luger and all kinds of stuff he brought back for that government thing.)

Sorry that I can't help you out OldWolf, as I only own one brought back from WW II, but to answer pdwog's question...depends on the condition of that Japanese boyonet. I see Arisake bayonets like the one I have but in a bit worse condition and no leather for $50-75at local gun shows. I have no idea what mine is worth.

That looks like the one my Dad (RIP) the old SEABEE brought back from Guam.

There are some minor cosmetic differances on the guard. The hilt has an M with an arrow thru it and the other side has 3 overlaped circles. I'm wondering??? Mitsubishi?? Says he traded a stolen case of beer for it (also some grub for a case of Japanese grenades, but that's another story) There is one at the local Army/Navy store for 125$.....

Well, I can't anwer either, but I too found a bayonet (grandmother's garage) that looks like what Frandy calls an "Arisake" Pic attached. Can anyone confirm? Serial number on the end looks like 73530

Forgot to mention, I think mine is indeed an Arisaka (Jinson Arsenal - Korea) WWII.
