Has anyone ever considered this or even done it, I was thinking about using our foodsaver vaccum system to seal a two pound jug of V110. I was gonna use one of the jar sealing lids on it. I use V110 in .22 hornet loads, 8 grains. Lol, so the v110 will be sitting on the bench for quite some time. Would there be a benifit to doing this or am I just paranoid?

Hummm...Never thought of that...Must be a Morman thing, these foodsaver vac pak things. My wifes Morman. Powder stored in its original container and kept in a cool dry place will still be usable with no detectable loss of power for many years. But it never hurts to improve the powder's chances of survival....:)

You're paranoid. Just keep the container sealed and in a reasonably cool, dark place. A shelf in your basement is just fine.

Yep, I'm going with the paranoid angle also.

As the previous members have advised, just keep it in the original container with the lid on tight in a fairly cool location.

Yep. I've kept some for over 20 yrs myself in a bedroom closet and know people that have kept powders longer than that. Like Father says be sure to keep the lid on tight.

definitely avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight. powder comes in black jugs or metal cans for a reason.
