As if we weren't already the most restrictive gun state in the country already. This new bill would limit us to one gun a month to prevent trafficking. Check it out at www.state.ma.us/legis/bills/st00165.htm or see under "What's New at the Four Seasons web site at www.fsguns.com

SECTION 3. Section 123 of chapter 140 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "condition.", in line 229, the following sentence:- Twentysecond, That no licensee shall sell, rent or lease a firearm or large capacity weapon without first obtaining a written declaration from the purchaser, renter or lessor that such individual has not purchased, rented or leased, as those terms are used in subsection ( c ) of section 131E of this chapter, any firearm or large capacity weapon during the previous 30 days, or that such individual is an exempt person as set forth under subsection ( c ) of section 131E of this chapter. Such declaration shall not be a defense in any action brought against a licensee relative to the enforcement of subsection ( c ) of section 131E of this chapter.

Yea, this does make sense. No weapon trafficker would EVER lie on a written declaration in order to get their hands on a firearm

On second thought, we should just have everyone buying a gun to sign a form stating that they will not use the gun in a crime. That should all but end crime committed with a firearm because everyone knows that criminals obey all laws that relate to firearms ownership. (except the ones they break :p )

I endured the infringement of one gun a month in the People's Republic of California as long as I could stand it, then returned to the United States.

Again I am completely dumb-founded as to the reason behind these laws(well at least the reason they'll admit).

The reason for the law if so the liberals can feel good about themselves. They're too stupid to admit the MCAS is a joke.... Kids studying for a test all year. Gee, wonder why there's so many fat, kids with no inclination for exercise?:scrutiny:

Do they honestly believe that someone that can afford to LEGALLY buy more than one gun a month spend his days knocking over liquor stores or selling crack to school kids.

Oh wait...I see. The point is that you ARE a criminal just because you buy more than one gun a month.

:fire:

And dont get me started on MCAS.:cuss:

Mastro: ever legislative session, the same group submits the same bunch of lame proposed gun control laws. And GOAL submits its group of proposed laws. And most of them have zero chance of getting out of committee, let alone be passed by the legislature.

M1911 -- I do hope your right but I'll let my rep know he won't be getting my vote again if he equates me with a criminal, and supports this bill.
