How do you like it? How much does it weigh? Is it accurate? Do you know what the rifling twist is?
Thanks for any help,
Steve

A friend of mine has one. I can't answer any of your questions because I have only dumped mags on full auto.
Honestly, if it wasn't for the finances involved, I wouldn't trade one of my post ban AR15s for his select fire Galil.

Love it. Oh wait. I'm in CA. Do I really own one? Seriously, I think it has many of the best attributes of an AK and an AR. It would be perfect if they could reduce the weight by about a pound or so.

I've owned both .308 and .223 ARMs and AR models at various points in time. The ARMs because of the bi-pod and wood handguards weigh a bit more than the AR models. I've found them to be fairly accurate and ultra dependable. IIRC, twist rates for the .308 is 1/12 while you can find both 1/7 (more common) and 1/9 for the .223.

I used to have one in .223 back when CA didn't make it a "crime." I really liked the rifle - very robust, excellent quality, accuate too. I believe the rifling twist was 1-7. First class "black" rifle - will everything that such can/should do. I still miss it...:cuss:
