Got 3000 bullets coming in the mail, a boat load of brass, 8 lbs of W231 and I'm ready to work up a load for 9mm. Anyone got any suggestions for what's worked well? Let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Mark

What will be the firearm of choice??? I have a Firestar M43 and I feed it everything from 4.6 grains to 5.0 grains of W-231(A very hot load. Use extreme caution working up to it). Under a 115 grain Winchester JHP. Primed with either CCI 500 or WSP...The M43 has a 3.39" barrel and I am getting from 1030 fps to 1100 fps. Please remember that the 5.0 grains of W-231 is a very hot loading...

231 is very good choice. Work up the load for your gun following the manuals.

My current recipe is 4.5gr WIN231, 124gr FMJ, CCI500 primer, mixed brass, 1.095 OAL.
It's a nice target load that I use in my G17, XD9 and P228

For a 115JHP and 231 Wichester factory data from a 4 inch barrel is 4.3gr at 1010fps and 25,800psi to 4.8gr at 1120 fps and 32,100psi. No overall length given.
