Argentine Systema ejects on top of head

I have never had a .45 1911 that dropped cases right on top of my head and shoulder about 50% of the time. Put in a new 16 lb. recoil spring with no apparent change. Shooting 230 gr. reloads and factory ammo. 100% reliable. I guess I need to adjust the ejector and/or extractor? Suggestions for improvement are appreciated. Regards, Bill

Everyone wants to work on the extractor, but in this case a little work on the ejector will do the job. Take a bit off the lower inside of the angled front of the ejector. I recommend you take a file with you to the range and take a tiny bit off, fire the gun, take a bit more if needed, and so on. It is tedious, but gets the job done without ruining the ejector.

I will give it a try this weekend. Easy goes it on the metal removal, right?
