British Kevlar Vests - Equiv. NIJ rating?

Anyone know what the army issue British Kevlar vests are rated to stop? I have a friend that bought one of these and I'm trying to figure that out for him before he wears it. It's obviously Kevlar, multi-layer with a soft-panel Kevlar insert in the plate pockets.

I wouldn't trust any military surplus vest to be good for anything but a display. You don't have any idea how it's been cared for.

Take it to the range and see what it will stop. It will be a fun experiment. It's no longer life support equipment.
